A double layer of nylon fabric sewn with pockets and wrapped around an existing column like a dress. Within the horizontal pockets rye grass was planted and watered by a drip irrigation system with a pump. Lit from below by warm white fluorescent bulbs, and supported by a Styrofoam base. The grass grew and was then dried out simulating a full life cycle.
