11’8 x 11’ x 25’

32-8’ clear plastic fluorescent tube covers hung in a grid from ceiling with wire and eye hooks. The tubes are capped at bottom with a PVC plumbing fixture and filled with water and plant food at varying heights rising from 2’ to 6’. Prairie grasses native to northern Illinois float on top of the water, seeds left to germinate and sprout, or grow moldy and decay. Each tube illuminated by a single halogen light suspended from above.
