50 glass medicine bottles filled with water, plant food, and Big Blue Stem Prairie Grass seeds.  Each bottle sits on a steel rod rising from the floor boards at heights ranging from 6” to 7’.  A single 12-volt halogen light bulb hangs 2.5’ above each bottle encased in aluminum tubing.  The grass both grew and decayed during the time period of the exhibition.
