Borderlines heads south for Bodies and Borders | Nov. 22nd

My artwork Borderlines will be on view online and in person at The 109 Gallery in Chickamauga, Georgia, as part of the group show Bodies and Borders: Ecologies of Consent, sponsored by WEAD, the Women Eco Artists Dialogue.

Borderlines is a handmade paper collage featuring a background of abaca laminated with regenerated paper from Bronx Day Lily plants, embedded with a watermark of the US-Mexican border and dried day lily flowers. The final top layer represents the border wall, composed of handmade Kozo from a paper mulberry tree that grew in Brooklyn, NY.
