Tea House Cart

Orchard Street in front of the Lower East Side Tenement Museum

Participants were invited to enter a sidewalk teahouse constructed out of copper pipe and share a cup of tea. The tea was brewed from and array of donated loose leaf teas spooned into special paper filters. Our conversations were recorded in preparation for being transcribed onto the tea bags after they were set out to dry on glass shelves.
