This FREE event is a unique opportunity to tour the YOHO Artists’ studios in the historic Alexander Smith Carpet Mills factory buildings in the Carpet Mills Arts District (CMAD). You can visit with over 50 artists, see their studios, view their new work, and enjoy the best part of your afternoon with what is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience. In addition to our open studio tour, the Carpet Mills Arts District will present the CMAD Mural Festival with live mural painting, live music and performances, art demonstrations, family-friendly programming, food trucks, and much more to be announced.
YOHO Open Studio is a proud participant of Yonkers Arts Weekend (YAW). YAW is a citywide celebration of the arts, generously sponsored by the City of Yonkers and Mayor Mike Spano.
Shuttle service is available from the downtown Yonkers Metro-North train station to YOHO from 12-4 pm each day. Please visit www.yonkersartsweekend.com for up-to-date schedule details. Uber-type services and car services for hire are always available if you wish to plan your visit around the shuttle’s availability.
