EXTRA LARGE SKIRTS
2001 – 2011
A decade long creation of fabric and lace skirts draped on support armatures with internal lights and a drip irrigation system. While on view grass seeds that are planted within pockets germinate, grow and then dry out and die, exhibiting a full life cycle. The series comments on both the nurturing and some times suffocating effects created by the feminine embodiment of Nature.
